Moorland Summer Solstice Retreat

Come and enjoy the beauty of the evening sunshine on the open moors over the longest days of the year.

Weekend flow ~ 

​

Expect grounding embodied yoga practices twice a day, delicious organic, vegetarian home cooked meals, guided hikes to ancient stone circles, story telling around the fire, and a special Solstice Ceremony to celebrate the peak of the summer.

There will be opportunities to connect with your fellow retreat guests around the campfire and over dinner as well as ample time to take for yourself. Whether that’s getting cosy with a book on the sofa, or taking an early morning stroll around the grounds with a cup of tea.

We will also take the trip to nearby Southcombe Barn to enjoy the wood fired sauna and a cold dip in the spring fed pool overlooking the moors.

The weekend will be supported by my old friend and wonderful yoga teacher Carrie Brassley. Carrie also grew up here on Dartmoor and we are both really looking forward to sharing the magic of the land with you.

Where ~ 

​

The weekend will be hosted at Karuna, a peaceful and picturesque country house surrounded by wild and wonderful moorland.

​

The address is Natsworthy Manor, Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Devon, TQ13 7TR. There is plenty of parking on site and the nearest railway station is Newton Abbot which is 30minutes drive away. There will be opportunities to arrange lift shares with fellow guests nearer to the date.

When ~

You are welcome to arrive from 6pm on Thursday 19th June. We'll say goodbye after lunch on Sunday 22nd June around 2pm. 

 

Prices ~ 

Prices for the weekend include accommodation and meals for 3 days, and all yoga and activities - 
 

Early Bird ~ £495 ~ Shared Occupancy (offer open until 31st March in a room with two or three single beds)
Shared Occupancy ~ £545 (in a room with two or three single beds)
Solo Occupancy ~ £595
